About the Event
The Ohio Healthcare Virtual Career Fair is an annual statewide event held in February. It is designed to inspire middle and high school students to explore careers in healthcare. The 2026 event spotlighted five in-demand healthcare occupations, featuring Ohio’s hospitals and live Q&A sessions with students. The program also included remarks from elected state leaders, post-secondary education leaders, and a student perspective from Ohio HOSA.

The Ohio Healthcare Virtual Career Fair brings together healthcare employers, schools, education and training providers, and public leaders to help:
- Increase student awareness of healthcare career options.
- Highlight in-demand occupations and the education pathways connected to them.
- Introduce students to real healthcare professionals and employers.
- Encourage students to consider healthcare careers in their own Ohio communities.
- Strengthen statewide collaboration around healthcare workforce needs.
